"Winter miles, summer smiles" will be a familiar mantra of deferred gratification to many riders. There's wisdom there, but we reckon those Winter spins should be joyful too. The season provides the perfect excuse to slow down, explore and reconnect with the love of riding a bike. We made these socks to keep feet cosy and moods buoyant while doing so.

We've taken our much-loved performance socks, adding Merino wool magic to create the perfect cold weather cycling sock. An investment in your Winter happiness.

The cushioned Merino wool footbed, heel and toe provide supreme warmth, combined with a high-wicking mesh upper and elasticated arch support for all day comfort. The super wool blend insulates, thermo-regulates and is soft and silky for even the most sensitive skin.

Forget the drudgery of banging out base miles with freezing feet or spinning the hamster wheel. Get out and explore with toasty toes. Or wear off the bike all Winter for happy feet and dreams of lanes.

    The Sperrins Collection
Victory Chimp is based at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains in the North of Ireland. Our designs are dreamed up in this wild and beautiful landscape and worked out back in the studio. This pattern is a tribute to our favourite climbs.

    Chimpeur Merino Wool Winter Socks

The winter socks do simply the job, great product.
Comfortable and keeping you warm when temperature are down -2'C; and at £15 they are just good value.

So good I bought another pair!

So good I bought another pair!

As per the title. I liked these socks so much I bought another pair. Firstly, they look great, which is very important. They are slightly thicker than other “cycling specific” merino socks but not by much and they stay in place.
Secondly, and most importantly, they keep my feet warm. I’ve now used these socks a few times over the last few of weeks in temperatures around 3 to 5 degrees (feeling colder to be honest).
As a small disclaimer: My rides are around an hour to an hour and half in these very cold temperatures. The also wash well and air dry quickly. Highly recommended.
