How We Started
Founded in 2014, Victory Chimp began life as the creative outlet of Irish designer, illustrator and bike rider, Ryan O'Reilly. When not busy at his desk, Ryan would either be scribbling down his own ideas or riding around the country on his bike. When the latter started exerting an overwhelming influence on the former, Victory Chimp was born. One crash and several weeks away from both bike and computer later, Ryan had plotted a course through the (mostly imagined) intersections of art, cycling, fashion and the great apes.
From a spare bedroom, Ryan set out with a belief that's life's too short for boring kit. 12 years of making serious kit that doesn't take itself too seriously later, Victory Chimp is now trusted by over 100,000 happy Chimpeurs worldwide.
