The year 1990, a Planet of the Apes-esque alternative timeline wherein a team of plucky primates raided the pro peloton to take home that most colourful and elusive prize, the Bonification jersey. Echoing our own era of sponsor logo patchwork jerseys, the Team Chimp kit was adorned with the marques of ape-led businesses large and small, from Belgian building suppliers Kongcrete to shady pharmaceuticals giant Zaius Labs. Ultimately the simian dream of the glorious Bonification jersey was ended by the nefarious schemes of arch-rivals Team Pantini, so let’s celebrate again this all too brief moment in cycling history.

Got it to keep the chill off on early morning commutes and it does just that! Much easier than lugging my scarf on rides and it folds down to a teeny weeny size

Perfect weight

This neck doofer is soft, comfortable and makes it easier to wear on top or under jackets. Versatile when cycling as it can be easily adjusted to cover as much or as little you want.

Better fit than some other buffs

I have an addiction to buffs (or "neck doofers") so couldn't resist these (I actually ordered them to bump my order into the Free postage level). Nice and soft and what I especially like is the fit and structure means it stays up better than many buffs that over time just sag down and don't cover your neck at all. Good value at £8.50, also.

It's twice the length that the picture shows, with a matt colour on the second half, so you can switch side if you need a more "serious" look.
The fabric is smooth and tight enough to protect from the wind even using only one layer.

I love the VC neck doofers - I got this one to match my VC10 jerseys and if you are lucky enough to grab one of the few remaining I would recommend getting the whole matching set! These doofers are made from a lovely soft material and it's very breathable when you have it pulled over your face!
