Signature Packable Wind Jacket (Orange)

I had to send mine back to get a larger size and received my package within a week, very impressed

Another great cycling garment from the Chimpsters. I wore this today on a chilly early morning ride, comfortable, breathable and a great fit. I love the rear pocket access, which is normally a pain when wearing a jacket or gilet, very clever.

Very happy with this jacket, fabric feels great. It keeps the chill off on early morning rides but packs into a jersey pocket easily.

Have worn this every morning since purchasing. Perfect for the chillier mornings or breezier rides. Normally wear a size M in t shirts but got an L windbreaker and fits snug but well for cycling. One that’ll live in the tube bag as a just in case when not put on first thing

This is the second color of this item that I have purchased.
I like it very much and it goes well with the other color schemes. YKK zippers and good quality. I use it primarily when it’s around 13-15 degrees and windy.

nice jacket, packed down small, allows access to back pockets. Perfect for wearing at the start of a morning ride then removing once it starts to get a bit warmer.

This product is perfect, the sleeves are exactly the correct length, a great fit,, it’s lightweight, comfortable and some great colours, it’s ideal for this chilly early mornings or for slipping on at the end of a days riding when the light is fading and it’s cool, which let’s face it is pretty much all the time in the uk, I wouldn’t leave home without it,

Bought last week, used on a test ride then fully deployed for the Tour of Flanders Sportive. Warm enough to keep the chill off at 0630 in the morning but light enough to be used on the fist 150km until the sun came out. Did not over heat even when picking up the pace.
Fit easily into my jersey pocket when required
Really good fit in all areas and not short like others I have tried.

What a nice jacket. I read the reviews, so I expected a good product, but frankly not at this level. 

Materials, fit and details are all so well-chosen and well-designed that it's a joy to wear and look at this jacket. I don't hesitate to put this product above the gilets and windjackets I have from Assos, Rapha and Alé. It's simply a nicer product. 

Size Medium fits my 179 cm and 67 kg spot on. 

One area of improvement though: shipping, that could clearly be done faster, VC.

Absolutely love my new wind jacket! Very well crafted, precisely sewn, super fit!

I'm new to cycling clothing, so I've nothing to compare this with but it's a great fit, comfortable and feels high quality.
I'm 5'11" 164lb and 32" waiste so went for the large but it was too small.
I appreciate cycling clothing is fitted but would of struggled to wear a base layer.
Anyway, I returned it and ordered an X- large which came very quickly and is a perfect fit.
You could wear this as a single layer in spring but also with a base layer in Autumn/ Winter.
One thing to note is that returns are at your own cost.
Very happy with my purchase and will be buying more from.VC.

A slim fitting wind-proof, great addition to my collection! Features such as the 2 way zipper, and the rear outside pockets that are actually access to the jersey pockets below (middle pocket doubles as the storage pouch), are well thought out.

This jacket is what you imagine it to be! We’ve all looked at pictures of models in cycling clothing and imagined we’d look the same. Then you buy it and realise the company glued and pinned the clothing to the model. They manufactured the lighting and when you get the item, it’s two shades lighter. Well this jacket is exactly how it looks and fits! It is the perfect fit and the quality is amazing! The colour is even better than the pictures! This is my fist piece of Victory Chimp clothing, after tying all the other brands, I will come back for more Victory Chimp! Plus you get some great stickers (and I love them even though I’m in my 50’s)

Great piece of kit. Love the fit, the colour and especially the two way zip. I was dubious about it not having any grippers around the waist but it's not needed and remains in place.

I generally have to go up a couple of sizes for this gear but it's worth the effort to find your right size. Good quality and reasonably priced.

Never had a packable wind jacket before, but I can't fault this item - it looks good, it fits well, packs down so you can easily fit it in a pocket and simpy does the job.

Very good quality product.
Very breathable on the back and protects the chest well from the cold.
Used on road trips around 5 °, I felt well protected and comfortable thanks to the lightness of the product.

Large fitted well and I’m 5’10” and 76kg.

I purchased this on the back of other reviews and previous VC purchases and is does not disappoint. The quality is very high with great attention to detail: 2-way zip (so useful and often overlooked), reflective detailing on rear hem and pocket, a great non coil zip, decent elastic closures to sleeves and a zip garage. The material has a fair bit of give in it and the back is very breathable. I always tend to run hot and the breathability was a key feature for me. The cut is also spot on with no flapping material. When sitting upright it can feel a little tight across the chest but when in a riding position it is spot on. I am 72kg and 178cm and went with an L. This was mainly because I will also use it for running in. Yet another great piece of kit from VC. Keep them coming.

It is my first purchase from the brand. Reason why I have ordered the jacket is the slots at the rear pocket that allows you to access your jersey pockets without opening the zip. I have used this design on gilet from different brand for years and I think it's game changer. Now after wearing it for a bit I can honestly say that this is exceptional jacket! Fabric has a bit of stretch to it, so it doesn't feel restrictive when move about, its breathable,
and also provides some degree of water repellency. As a off road rider, it's not exactly easy to find fited jacket that still provides freedom of movement. And the another bonus you are getting at this price point is two way zipper, another great feature for regulating temperature that i usually only find on a very premium brands at high price point. So yeah overall awesome jacket !!! Very happy with the purchase!!!

Possibly the best Wind proof jacket I have owned for the bike! It’s packable and fits in a back jersey pocket. The Orange colour is just the right colour. It screams premium. The mesh back panel is a great addition to keep you cool too!

Do yourself a favour and stop looking at other Brands, this is the jacket you need now!
