Inspired by a passion for travelling, cycling and fashion, AFRICAP fuses the classic cycling cap with the vibrancy and soul of African Ankara. Unique traditionally printed Ankara fabrics are sourced from across West Africa and made into limited edition caps by an in-house tailor. Each cap is named for a particular region and tells its own story.

What is Ankara?
The textile used to make African prints is called Ankara. Ankara fabric is known for its vibrant colours and bold patterns, and is deeply associated with African clothing. One of the best things about Ankara fabric is the intensity of the print does not change compared to other printed textiles that fade quickly. This is because of the “wax resistant” technique used.

As this is a handmade product, minor imperfections and variations may be visible on the print; this is part of the character of the product. Variations in sizing may also occur.
